A letter to Band Members | Directors | Band boosters|BYLAWS

June 4, 2007

As the 2006-07 school year comes to a close, the EC Glass Band Boosters would like to thank the community for the support that is has shown for the EC Glass Band Program at recent events.

Last month, we celebrated the grand opening for EC GLASS BAND BINGO which is held every Thursday night at the Nelson Centre in Fort Hill Village (next to the Bowling Center).  A special THANKS goes out to the dozens of volunteers, including parents, students, and band boosters who are helping out!

We were also thrilled with the response for our Spring Concert/Alumni Event held last week.   More than 100 band alumni returned to EC Glass High School to honor former band director, Neal Haworth and graduating seniors.  On Memorial Day, the band members were truly honored to perform at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thanks again to the community for its outstanding support for the EC Glass Band Program.  We are already busy preparing an exciting new show for the 2007-08 Marching Band halftime performance and look forward to seeing you all in the Fall!
