VPE Schedule, Clayton HS Competition

Thu, Feb. 21             Practice at LMS from 6-9pm

                                    Swing Flags come at 5:45 to set up backdrops and open the floor

Mon, Feb. 25            Practice at LMS from 6-8pm

                                    Sabers come at 5:00 for sectional time and to set up backdrops and floor

Thu, Feb. 28             Practice at LMS from 6-9pm

                                    Rifles come at 5:45 to set up backdrops and open the floor

Fri, Feb. 29               Practice after-school until 6pm (Location TBA…trying to reserve R.S. Payne)

Sat, March 1             Clayton High School Competition

8:00am                       Meet at ECG band room wearing your winter guard t-shirt and comfy pants

Noon                           Arrive at Clayton HS (one short potty stop probably)

                                    -Unload floor and backdrops to equipment holding area (need parent help)

                                    -Eat lunch at the concessions at Clayton High School (bring $$)

                              -Change into uniform, finish hair and make-up (bring your uniform bag, make-up, and hair stuff)

                              -Liz ONLY goes with Guske and Spin Club to warm-up, everyone else stay with Vogel and Nicole

3:20pm                       Watch Spin Club perform (cheer loudly!)

3:30pm                       Begin stretches in hallway with Nicole while Guske takes Spin Club to put equipment back onto the bus and change clothes

5:04pm                       Perform J, put all equipment back onto the bus and change (guard t-shirt)

6-6:30pm                   Dinner at the concessions

6:30-9:45pm              Watch the rest of the guards perform, we will sit as ONE group (spin club and VPE), you are only allowed to leave the gym during breaks (usually once an hour), parent chaperones needed

9:45pm                       Guard Awards Ceremony

11pm                          Leave for Lynchburg
